HOMOPHOBIA

I read this at Nancy's blog. It asked that, if you disagree with Homophobia, to please reprint this entry. I absolutely disagree with Homophobia or any prejudices in this world today.Read on friends:

I am the girl kicked out of her home because I confided in my mother that I am a lesbian.

I am the prostitute working the streets because nobody will hire a transsexual woman.

I am the sister who holds her gay brother tight through the painful, tear-filled nights.

We are the parents who buried our daughter long before her time.

I am the man who died alone in the hospital because they would not let my partner of twenty-seven years into the room.

I am the foster child who wakes up with nightmares of being taken away from the two fathers who are the only loving family I have ever had. I wish they could adopt me. I am one of the lucky ones, I guess.

I survived the attack that left me in a coma for three weeks, and in another year I will probably be able to walk again.I am not one of the lucky ones.

I killed myself just weeks before graduating high school. It was simply too much to bear.

We are the couple who had the realtor hang up on us when she found out we wanted to rent a one-bedroom for two men.

I am the person who never knows which bathroom I should use if I want to avoid getting the management called on me.

I am the mother who is not allowed to even visit the children I bore, nursed, and raised. The court says I am an unfit mother because I now live with another woman.

I am the domestic-violence survivor who found the support system grow suddenly cold and distant when they found out my abusive partner is also a woman.

I am the domestic-violence survivor who has no support system to turn to because I am male.

I am the father who has never hugged his son because I grew up afraid to show affection to other men.

I am the home-economics teacher who always wanted to teach gym until someone told me that only lesbians do that.

I am the man who died when the paramedics stopped treating me as soon as they realized I was transsexual.

I am the person who feels guilty because I think I could be a much better person if I didn’t have to always deal with society hating me.

I am the man who stopped attending church, not because I don't believe, but because they closed their doors to my kind.

I am the person who has to hide what this world needs most, love.

Repost this in your journal or on another board if you believe homophobia is wrong!!!!

I hate discrimination of any kind. People just need to live their lives and not worry about other people and how we are living ours. Get over it and leave your noses out of our buisness. We don't tell you how to live your life so why should you have the right to tell us how and who we can live with or get married too. Not fair in the least bit. It's a free country, or did you type of people forget that. Love knows no boundaries, no discrimination.Enough about it already. Sorry to rant on. Sore subject with me. See ya

Update

Well it took me awhile to get back to my blog, been busy. The concert rocked. We had a blast. It was a good time spent out in the blazing heat. We watched, listened, they drank, we danced, we got a hat, got free beer, partied and so on. Did not want the night to come to an end. I was having a really good time. We all were.

So, today is our three years together and I cant wait to celebrate. So everyone take it easy and I will be back soon.

Bye the way we lost our game on sunday 7 to 14. But they did not beat us as bad as the last time we played them. LOL.

Results

Well, we lost the first game and kicked butt the second game and won. So, not bad. I mean we could of lost both. So then after our second game was done the field by ours were short a couple of girls so me and another girl from my team played a THIRD game. Are we crazy? Yes. We love playing so we said yes of course and we ended up winning there game. We were beat after that. I mean I never played two games back to back let alone playing three. Anyways, it was a great day and we all had a blast. Except for my back of course, it hurts and I am paying for that today. (I got in a car wreck awhile back and my back has hurt every since and been going to a chiropractor to get fixed.) But all good and I enjoyed myself.

We get to go to Def Lepord tomorrow. WoooHooo. I can't wait. Pour some sugar on me. Yeah. Sorry just kinda hit me that I'm going to see them again tomorrow in concert. Love their band. So I will be back soon, See ya.
